Mercedes Benz Australia promotes local content at Land Forces 2016

The Land Forces Conference 2016 held in Adelaide this year was an excellent forum for businesses working in the defence industry to meet and discuss partnership and collaboration opportunities. Integra was proud to be represented as a key local supplier to Mercedes Benz Australia at the Land Forces Conference. Integra has designed a new bumper system for the Mercedes G-Wagon (blue bumper located in front of the G-Wagon) that allows the front end of the vehicle to withstand the forces in combat arising from infield obstructions and obstacles such as trees. In case of damage, the bumper can be easily removed to be retrofitted with a new one and at a minimal cost. Integra has also collaborated with Mercedes and manufactured a large batch of winch protector cradles capable of performing the same functions as the bumper system. The main aspiration behind the design of these defence vehicles is to provide troops with the in-field facilities required for agile, functional, robust and safe vehicles. Mercedes is proud of its collaboration with local manufacturers and promoted this particular cooperation with Integra by including the G-wagon, painted in Integra colours, in their display at the Land Forces event.
