Custom Corten Signage For The Montmorency Eltham RSL
A few months ago, the Montmorency Eltham RSL enlisted Integra Systems to design, manufacture and install custom corten signage to symbolise the sacrifices our returned and current service men and women have made to fight for and protect our freedoms.
The custom corten signage was created by the design team at Integra and installed last Wednesday by Managing Director and CEO, Paul Hughes; Design and Development Manager, Nick Restall; and member of the design team, Riley Cleeve, just in time for Remembrance Day.
In recognition of our signage donation, Paul Hughes, Russell Hughes, Erika Hughes, Nick Restall, Sanjay Babu Jeyachandran, and Ellida Grixti had the honour of attending the Montmorency Eltham RSL Remembrance Day on behalf of the entire Integra Systems team.
The ceremony began with a speech and traditional smoking ceremony from Uncle Ringo Terrick, part of the Wurundjeri Tribe, in honour of the efforts towards reconciliation. The ceremony continued with a reading of In Flanders Fields from Amelie from Eltham North Primary, Remembrance Prayer from Ricki Rank and the Ode of Remembrance for the Fallen from Andrew Hall. The ceremony closed with a speech by Montmorency Eltham RSL President, Glen Ferrarotto, who spoke about the bravery of all our armed forces, particularly the Aboriginal Australians who did not receive the recognition they deserved for their sacrifices.
